WE BELIEVE IN A FAIR AND EQUAL SOCIETY. This project will help build a Daycare Center in Ushuaia, Argentina, the southernmost city in the world. The Daycare Center will provide education, nutrition and health care to more than 150 children living in poverty. We Aim to protect the rights of children who are at high risk of social vulnerability by adopting intensive care practices to ensure their growth, development and survival.
In Argentina 63% of the children are living in poverty Approximately 1,000 teenagers drop out of School on a daily basis 44% of the children don't have access to basic technology
In PEQUENOS PASOS we develop the basic tools kids need to strengthen their capabilities through our Early Childhood Centers. At these centers, children from 45 days to 5 years old receive non-formal education, early stimulation, physical exercises and two daily meals. Our interdisciplinary team of professionals-nutritionists, psychologists, education experts, social workers and pediatricians continuesly work to fight illiteracy, malnutrition, child abuse and learning inhabilities, among others.
Building a Daycare Center will create an impact in the community and provide the children with access to education, health care and food nutrition they need to gain strength and enhance their learning capabilities.
