While the war in Lebanon has ended, a large number of individuals are grappling with the emotional and psychological scars left behind. They have only just begun to navigate the complex process of recovery and healing. The need for safe spaces where people can express themselves, connect with others, and engage in meaningful dialogue is more pressing than ever. Beirut Art Center recognizes this need and is committed to fostering resilience through art.
Beirut Art Center embraces cultural practice as a powerful form of resistance, fostering authentic artistic expression that reflects our shared human experience and strengthens community ties. Our new program offers art and drama therapy, creative learning programs, and community circles. Additionally, our artist and poet residencies will support emerging creators, providing time, space, and resources to produce new work, culminating in exhibitions and engaging literary activities.
