Dear friends,
Psychotherapy and psychosocial support is a standard service ECI provides for all its ECI Care Home resinders as well as for children attending ECI School.
Since Januayr, ECI´s psychology department conducted 67 individual therapy sessions with children with disabilities, including those at Enabled Children School and ECI Care Home. Of these sessions, 40 involved male students and 27 involved female students. ECI Psychologists supported all of these sessions individually.
These sessions focused on building trust, improving emotional expression, and enhancing social skills, ultimately strengthening the relationship between counselors and children. The program had a significant positive impact on the children's emotional well-being, self-confidence, and ability to communicate their feelings more effectively. The department plans to continue these efforts, ensuring sustained psychological support and growth for the children.
Children with disabilties need both, psychological and physical support to thrive, in addition to quality education and care, and with your support, ECI can continue to provide these essential services.
Thank you for your support,
ECI Team
