Our foundation is caring for over 9,400+ children, with 10-20 more added daily due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. These children rely on us for medical help, psychological help, education, socialization, humanitarian aid, etc.

We have achieved significant milestones thanks to your support:

• 5,548 children received financial assistance.
• 9,451 food packages distributed.
• 1,970 children received computers/tablets.
• 1,135 children received medical insurance.
• 2,845 children started learning foreign languages.
• 7,008 children received hygiene products and baby food.
• 1,954 children and their guardians attended camps.

Meet Gordy

Gordy, an orphan, was among the first children we supported. After his parents died due to the war, the family struggled deeply with this loss, and the first year under our care was spent providing them with psychological support. Today, Gordy is thriving—making friends, playing football, and enjoying school—while his grandmother, now 60, has taken up yoga.

Assistance provided to Gordy and his grandmother includes: Footwear, Psychological support, Product and hygienic sets, Stationery, Rest in Turkey, Power bank and lamp, Legal assistance, Clothes.

As spring unfolds, our commitment to the children of Ukraine continues to grow stronger, thanks to your unwavering support. As of April 1st, 2024, we have expanded our reach to support 8,524 children affected by the war, with 395 new children joining us in March alone. Your contributions have enabled us to provide essential support, including primary financial assistance, food packages, educational tools, and much more. Significant backing from GlobalGiving has further empowered our mission.

A highlight of our recent efforts is our Socialization Program - Camps, where 199 children found a haven in 2024, experiencing the camaraderie and relief that comes from being part of a supportive community.

Inspiring Story of the Month

Let me introduce you to Serhiy and his four children, Anya, Ira, Natalka, and Mykytka, from the village of Mylovo, Kherson Region. In March 2022, their lives were shattered by a rocket strike that took away their home and the children's mother and grandmother. Despite their unimaginable loss, they found a new home in Stepanivka, Vinnytsia region, and have been resilient in facing their new reality. The "Children of Heroes" Foundation has been there every step of the way, providing everything from educational gadgets to New Year's gifts, ensuring they have the resources to rebuild their lives. Their story is a powerful testament to the strength and courage found within the human spirit, and it's your support that makes this healing journey possible.
