15 year old Bwire of Katwekera, Kibera, has won a scholarship to attend Langata Secondary School in Form 1 through funds from GlobalGiving. Bwire is the third recipient, and the second soccer player to win this opportunity through the Sport and Education Fund. Bwire's father lost his job soon after the post election crisis in January 2009, and the family has relied on help from the community.
