This project seeks to provide quality schooling, sports training and mentoring to 120 talented but poor children and youth from around East Africa, enabling them to become responsible citizens in a global community. They attend a good primary and high school, and on graduation from the program, get integrated into the local job market, play professional sports, or join college internationally, where they receive excellent sports and education scholarships.
A large majority of young talented youth do not get the opportunity to use their sporting talent to improve their lives more sustainably through education and many of them do not complete school.
Sadili Oval Sports Academy will give talented underprivileged children, girls and youth from slums and rural areas in East Africa, an opportunity to get quality schooling, world class sports training and mentoring to succeed.
120 underprivileged African youth and children shall be educated and receive sport training in leadership, life skills, and health at Sadili Oval Sports Academy for up to four years each in order to reach high school or college. Already 7 have played college sports in USA and 3 have graduated and found jobs, 1 is now a professional tennis player in Florida USA, and 6 are playing the professional soccer league in Kenya, and 5 are trained coaches.
