We have just finished the first stage of building our school, thank you to everyone who helped us. Now This project will build the next stage of a mobile school in Tayept Alikram Refugee camp, north of Syria for displaced children, providing a safe place for children and disabled children to learn. We will provide formal education to 75 children providing quality education and equipment delivered by qualified female Syrian teachers. Help us to start the education process.
After 10 years of crisis, life is harder than ever for displaced Syrians. The crisis has taken a devastating toll on education; leaving over 7,000 schools damaged or destroyed and about 2 million children out of school, nearly 40% are girls. Many of these children are the most vulnerable, including those recently displaced by insecurity. These factors place children at the increased risk of dropping out. Almost one-third of those enrolled do not make it to the end of primary school.
Given the enormous scale of the education crisis in Syria which is threatening the future of an entire generation of children. Reviving Home is in a unique position to leverage local expertise and resources to improve the capacity, accessibility and functionality of education to Syrian children. The project will provide education to 75 Syrian children. The first prototype will be the pilot classroom and with further funding Reviving Home aims to build more schools in more refugee camps Reviving Home aims to integrate education interventions with protection, skills,disability training and livelihood support. It will hire Syrian female teachers and the community mobilisers trained by the charity will focus on meeting the holistic needs of children both in school and at the community level
