Ignite Shelter, inspired by Bhumi, bridges the care gap in shelter homes by engaging young volunteers to deliver weekend learning sessions with a 1:5 volunteer-to-child ratio.
The program blends conventional education with holistic subjects like Robotics, Arts, and life skills, using activity-based methods to spark curiosity and joy in learning.
During the Jan-March 2025 quarter, Ignite Shelter reached 2,995 children, supported by 711 active volunteers, 43 Lead Bhumi Coordinators, and 119 committed center coordinators. This initiative fosters consistent mentorship, emotional well-being, and foundational skills, empowering underprivileged children with brighter learning opportunities and a stronger sense of self.
This quarter reaffirms the program’s unwavering dedication to equipping underprivileged children with transformative learning experiences and essential skills that will lead to brighter, more empowered futures.
