Ignite Shelter, inspired by Bhumi, bridges the care gap in shelter homes by mobilizing young volunteers to provide personalized attention through a 1:5 volunteer-to-child ratio.
From April to June 2024, the program positively impacted 16,318 beneficiaries across 40 projects, expanding to three new cities. Weekend teaching sessions covered conventional academics and holistic subjects like Robotics and Arts, fostering sustainable skills and leadership.
Additionally, 7,000 children gained access to safe, vibrant learning spaces in schools, with need assessments completed in 43 schools. The program also aimed to elevate 30 WSTP schools to Level 3 under the Ignite+ framework, ensuring comprehensive transformation in education delivery.
