Project starting soon!

By Nathan Rowe | Capacity Development Officer

We are very close to starting this project and will be closing this fundraising appeal soon. Any last donations will help us to ensure the project can provide the best possible support to parents of young children with Down syndrome in Guatemala.

Since our last report we have finalised our Grant Agreement with Asociacion Guatemalteca para el Sindrome de Down and have reviewed their plan for the sessions. The plan is very comprehensive and covers all the essential areas that parents need, from emotional support to practical advice and guidance. We are very confident that the sessions will have the impact we planned and enable the families involved to provide the love and care that their children with Down syndrome need.

We will soon be ready to transfer them the money so they can begin supporting parents. Thank you to everyone who has donated to this project!
