Under the able leadership of our president Dr. Arundhati Sardesai a renowned educationalist our adolescent children are able to take educational decision with much ease and confidence.

Never losing a chance is always a motto that Manavya children are introduced to, hence when they clear their examination we immediately sent them around various institutes to help them understand the various programs given by the institutes and also familiarizing them to course curriculum which may be of their liking.

Many a times we have encountered issues where the child wants to pursue a particular program, but once we have sent asked him to go through the course contents he has reverted on his decision. This also includes a few counselling session by us to help the child decipher his aptitude and capability to pursue a particular program.

Teens who are boisterous want to achieve a lot in few time, in such case getting them admitted in program which will expertise them in a particular skill set is much advantageous. Like a few of our teens were very keen on farming hence they were admitted in a diploma for agricultural technology.

What more can the teens ask for if such program also gave some stipend which is saved in personal accounts of the children, and forms a motivational factor for the children.

The teen girls of Manavya are no less in vigor and strength. The ones who had come as small toddlers are grown up to be beautiful girls. They play a vital role in our institute while playing the role of elderly sisters. They are role models who not only take care of the younger ones but also support our staff in many of the kitchen activities. Some of the girls under guidance of our kitchen supervisors have become expert cooks and always experimenting in making nutritionist snacks for the fellow children. 

Two of the girls were given tailoring lessons which proved helpful to Manavya in curtailing the expenses of stitching clothes of the children. These girls have come forward in stitching clothes for the other children for which they are paid as per the quantity of dress they stitch. This also encouraged these girls in pursuing a program in fashion designing which they can avail once on completion of formal education.

Girls who are expert at cooking have started a new assignment of making side accomplishments (chatanis) at our residential care unit, which now has huge market in various exhibition that we put up at various companies and exhibitions. This has encouraged us to start to small business for our girls which we are in process of establishing the same.
