Project Report | Jan 24, 2020
Wings of Desire

By Sushama Apte | Project Manager

Acadamic Growth:

One of our girl has successfully completed her three months course “Bedside Care Giver” conducted by Colonel’s Club and we are glad to mention that she has got BEST STUDENT AWARD in the Course. Now she is learning more nursing techniques from our senior Nurse, in Manavya’s hospital situated in the internal premises of Manavya & that facility is open to everyone from the outside community members as well at Bhugaon. The main important thing is that she wants to work with Manavya in near future.

Our two girls doing Electronics Engineering. They moved to “Student Welfare Association” from last 4 months and now they are doing a part time job under the scheme of “Earn while Learn”. They themselves decided to do this while taking academic education. We appreciated this way of thinking of our children. It develops the sense of maturity and responsibility.

We have organized a session of expert on “Money Saving Schemes” for our support group children on our monthly Unnati Support group meeting. This was very useful and informative session for the children. The session includes the various topics from basic short term saving schemes like Recurring Deposit, SIP, Fixed deposits, etc. They also taught children how to make a habit of saving. Etc.

Special Achievements:

All are engaged in Wedding preparation..!

We are happy to share with you all that one of our girl is getting married on 29th January, 2020. She has completed her graduation in commerce faculty and now doing job as a Jr. Accountant in a private small scale industry. This we personally considered as our achievement as we could prove our objective towards the children. Now she independently stood on her own feet and taking new experience from the outside glorious world.

We choose for her a nice groom who is also HIV positive. He is also is living in Pune city and having suitable educational background like her. He is doing a private Job in a Pune city. He has a nice family of 6 persons like Mother, Father, Sister, and Brother. They both are married & living nearby each other. The family is well cultured and very understanding. They liked her and whole heartily accepted her in their family. She is very lucky to have such a Family who always support her in her education, to give her exposure to learn new things from the outside world.
