With two projects which are the brain baby of Manavya which target the teens are yielding set results for past 3 months. Thought these projects are in the premises of Manavya yet thsy have given an edge to these teens to live a life of their choice. With a limited budget given they now have an experience as to how it to live a life outside the residential care center. The children do the daily chores on their own and even have to cook food for themselves. This has bought a new confidence in these children where they have to cater to the daily chores as well as their colleges and schools.
After the children reach the age of maturity generally thay have to leave the center to explore the outside world. They again have to be a part of the socio ecomic system.This process of rehabitation begins with he children being placed at te project for 18 years. At project the children are monitored by our expertised staff and when the time is right these children are guided back to the community. One of our girl Komal was rehabilated in the community.
Ramesh who was pursuing his Surveyors program at ITI Bhare, made Manavya proud by scoring a distinction with 88% for the program. Today before the result were out he had been selected for a job of surveyor.
One of child who completed a Diploma in Agricultural Technology was able to get a job of his liking as well as his competency. Today he is residing on his own, but is under the wings of Manavya through a project named Unnati. In this project all the children who have moved out of the institute are proved with nutritional, medical, counselling and at times financial aids. Sudarshan has always been an introvert at the institute but today he is entrusting in flagship in newer territories.
Sandeep another child of Manavya completed a Diploma at Pabal where he specialized in a program which gave him the knowledge of technical aspects. On the basis of this he was able to grab a job. But this is not where Sandeep stopped he is now pursuing a Diploma in Computer from a Technical Board.
