Challenge

Children of the Scheduled Casts and Scheduled Tribes who are homeless are easy targets and victims. They are sometimes sold and are often exploited by the unscrupulous who force them to work with no chance of receiving schooling or even a square meal a day. Many never reach their teens and those who do tend to turn to crime and prostitution.

Solution

The project will take in such children and provide them with food, clothing and a good education. It will provide a homelike and family environment in which the youngsters can grow up to be good decent members of society, able to be self-sustaining.

Long-Term Impact

We will provide food, clothing, shelter and education to 100 homeless and destitute SC/ST children. They will receive health care, vocational training and be taught good moral values. They will grow up to be self-sustaining and good, decent citizens.
