SPARC is thrilled to report significant milestones with your help.
We are actively scouting for locations for our third facility. The leading contenders now are in the southern part of Fairfax County, Virginia to help broaden our geographical reach.
Our friends at SPARC’s two clubhouses continue flourishing. SPARC won the collaborative category of the Tapestry for Tomorrow art contest. Everyone is thrilled, and another chance to engage with our community comes up on May 3. That’s when the Fairfax County Government hosts an art show and recognition ceremony. The county-wide winners will be announced the following week on May 12.
And we play sports too. Our first golf tournament is May 7 at Springfield Golf and Country Club. There is still time to sign up if you are in the DC area and would like to join us. WJLA Chief Meteorologist Doug Hill and WTOP Reporter and Anchor Nathan Hager are our celebrity hosts. The day includes lunch, dinner, awards and a silent auction. Even if you can’t play golf that day, please consider a donation to our adaptive sports and recreation program!
