Sri Arunodayam is happy to announce that its Founder - Iyyappan Subramaniyan received the prestigious World of Children® Award 2016 at a special function held in New York City, USA on October 27, 2016.
Iyyappan is one among only Five Child Advocates from across the world, to be chosen for their heroic work with vulnerable children. Iyyappan received the Humanitarian Award, a new category introduced by World of Children®. He was selected for his work with children living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will get the entire story here: http://www.worldofchildren.org/honoree/iyyappan-subramaniyan/
This year’s five Honorees were chosen from a pool of several thousand nominations from across the world. The nominations are reviewed by an International Committee of issue experts and top candidates are investigated by an independent international firm to ensure that their programs are of the highest caliber.
This is a great honor for Sri Arunodayam, and indeed for India too, as Iyyappan Subramaniyan is the only Indian honoree this year.
We take this opportunity to thank you, dear donors, for your support of our projects. We wouldn't have been able to get this far without you!
