Rising Sun Education & Welfare Society also celebrated Universal Children Day in the month of November and World Disabilit Day in December 13 at Lahore. All the special children of Rising Sun Institute for Special Children took part in the events and most of them performed on the stage and showed that they are not behind in any aspect of life and they have courage and telent to compete in the modern world.

Rising Sun Education & Welfare Society has been working tirelessly on its mission since its inception in 1984. All the Special Children are equally taken care with love and devotion by our experienced staff. In the previous month all the special children were given proper facilities as we have been providing them since our inception. We arranged a recreational trip to public park and zoo to give these childen a chance to experience change and experience new things.  We gave the transportation and lunch facility to our special children during this visit. This gave them an opportunity to learn about a new aspect of life.

The funding we received from globalgiving.org played an important role in the life of all the children who got following facilities:

  • Free rehabilitation services
  • Free transportation service
  • Free medication (where and when required)
  • Free stationary items

Your cooperation has brought a light of hope in the life of these truly deserving special children. And what they expect is our love, support and care and if God has given us the power to help them, we must help and support them to make them an independent and contributing part of the society. Thanks and please keep cooperating.
