A group of Special Children departed to participate in the International Sports event for Special Children under the supervision of their sports coach. During winter holidays several famous personalities visited and appreciated the work of the organization.

Participation of Rising Sun in Special Olympics World Games
Five Rising Stars of Rising Sun representing Pakistan in Special Olympics World Games, Abu Dhabi, 2019. Our two coaches are also part of Pakistani contingent. THEY were invited for a tea by Pakistan Ambassy in UAE.
Initiation of Community Based Rehabilitation Program
We have to do what we can to help wherever and whenever it is possible for us to help (Jackie Chan).
These words very well describe our new venture "Perveen & Abdul Tawwab khan, Community based centers for persons with special needs". First admission drive for three low cost centers in Kasur district was both heartwarming and eye opening for us. Due to Tannery industry, pure quality of drinking water, poverty and illiteracy condition of children with special needs is very upsetting in certain areas of Kasur. We met around 40 families having children with special needs, and it was alarming to see that at least 80% children had history of seizures.
We are looking forward to provide academic, therapeutic, health and hygiene related services to children with special needs.
We also want to seriously work on community awareness and empowerment. A close liaison with local community will enable us to evolve it into a community ownership model.
Last words
This all becomes possible with the kind support of our donors and well-wishers. We hope that the support they give us for the noble cause of serving these little angles will remain with us forever.
