Shree Palanchok Bhagwati Secondary School of Panchkhal Municipality-09, Kavrepalanchok is one of the schools lying in earthquake affected regions of Nepal. Even before the earthquake, the students did not have easy learning environment.

With only 152 students, the school has many students from low economic background, who have been struggling to attend school. Parents often engage their children in agricultural works now and then, as support to the family. According to the locals, children belonging to poor economic background often have lesser chance of being regularly sent to school as parents hesitate to invest in their education.

So, as a part of educational support for children, ECCA provided 12 "All in One" book to students of class Nursery to Class 3. "All in One" is a package book for elementary grade students, which has chapters of different subjects, thus providing a large range of knowledge.

“We are really thankful for the support”, says one of the teachers. “The books will also be helpful for us to teach them and for the students as motivation to attend school.”

Coordination with the school was done through a youth group called SOFIC Nepal.

ECCA is really thankful for the support. Your continuous support will help us support larger number of students.
