Since long, ECCA has been supporting the marginalized and economically poor students of various places. This time, the beneficiaries were 38 students and 5 teachers of Shree Chandeshwori Basic School (which has Class 1 to 5) situated in Champe village of ward no. 2, Arun Rural Municipality, Bhojpur district in the hilly region in eastern Nepal.
These students were provided 152 copies. Also, the school was provided 4 no. stainless steel body water filters (13 liters capacity) fitted with ceramic candle and water bottles, thereby making available safe drinking water for the students and teachers. This ceramic candle has 3-layer system (Silver impregnated; Granular Activated Carbon; and outer ceramic (diatomaceous earth)) and hence can remove bacteria, turbidity and protozoa.
The support of copies and water filters has helped to improve the school environment here, said Ms. Santoshi, Principal of the school, expressing happiness on the support to the students in the remote place of Bhojpur district.
ECCA is thankful for your support.
