ECCA supported 10 needy students from Shree Janajyoti Basic School located in a rural plain of Jhapa District (eastern Nepal) with stationery items (copies, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners and geometry box). Along with the stationery support, game materials (Football, Volley Ball, Ring, Skipping, Flying Disk and Ludo) were also supported to the school for physical education, games. The materials were handed over to the Principal and Child Club responsible teacher of the school.
Mr. Tuk, Principal at Shree Janajyoti Basic School, said, “Our school is backward in terms of quality education and facilitiesdue to geographic isolation. Thus, the school support program from ECCA is very effective. We are very thankful to get stationeries and game materials, which will help our children to continue their education in a fun environment. We look forward for more assistance in the future.”
There are 167 students enrolled in the school and more than 80 percent students belong to indigenous group.
ECCA is also thankful for your support.
