Stationery materials were distributed to various schools in Bhirkot village, Tamakoshi Rural Municipality, Dolakha. This area was badly damaged during the April 2015 Nepal earthquake.
The stationery materials included school bag, copy, pen, dot pen, eraser, sharpener, geometric box (for students from Grade 7 to 12) and calculator (for students from Grade 9 to 12).
Mr. Rambir, Principal of Indrawoti Primary School, Bhirkot village expresses his views as follows:
“Our students are mainly from low economic level family. Most of them couldn’t afford the necessary education materials for their children to go to school. Because of this situation, the number of students attending school was low. After stationary materials support for students, I found increase in students’ attendance. The families and school are thankful for the support.”
