Support a child in refuge

Project Report | Jan 23, 2022
Update

By wendy denty | project leader

Since we have opened our new safe house we have been able to accomodate many more women and their children who have fled Domestic Abuse and are now safe with us.

Whilst it is wonderful to support more families this just means the need for support is greater than ever before.

Our new refuge has self contained units so that families are able to live independantly whilst still getting the support from our highly trained refuge and childrens workers.

Christmas was a time when many of you were generous and reached out to help us. With this help we were able to ensure that the families had as good a time as possible.

Thank you to everyone who did help us and know how much it was appreciated by us all.

Happy 2022 to you all.
