Dear Friends and Supporters,
Namaste and warm greetings from Community Development Center (CDC) Nepal.
Some moments stay with you forever. One of those moments for us was stepping into an orphanage where children welcomed us with folded hands, bright smiles, and a joyful “Namaste.” In that simple greeting, we saw respect, happiness, and hope—proof that love and education truly change lives.
At Community Development Center (CDC) Nepal, we are proud to support over 500 helpless and orphaned Nepali children, helping them access education, nutritious food, and a caring environment where they can dream without fear.
As we entered the school premises, the atmosphere was full of excitement. Children gathered around, curious and cheerful, eager to share their stories. Some proudly showed their notebooks, others talked about their favorite subjects, and many simply smiled—wide, genuine smiles that spoke louder than words.
Despite coming from difficult backgrounds, these children radiate joy. That joy comes from knowing that someone believes in them.
Our visit coincided with the ThirdTerminal Examination Results Day, making it even more special. One by one, students received their results. There was nervousness at first, followed by laughter, applause, and relief.
Teachers shared encouraging feedback, highlighting clear improvement in reading, writing, and mathematics. Students who once struggled to keep up in class are now progressing with confidence. Some children shyly smiled while holding their results; others proudly shared how hard they studied.
For us, this was more than academic success—it was a sign that education is transforming lives.
To celebrate the students’ hard work, CDC Nepal shared nutritious meals with the children. Sitting together, eating, laughing, and talking turned the day into a true celebration.
For many children, this meal meant comfort and care. For all of us, it was a reminder that support is not only about books and exams—it is about human connection.
The happiness on their faces said everything.
Many of the children supported by CDC Nepal have faced loss, poverty, and uncertainty at a very young age. Without support, continuing education would be impossible for them.
Through donations and community support, CDC Nepal provides:
This holistic approach helps children grow not only as students, but as confident individuals.
