This year is our second year in this five-year scholarship project, MOCAFON remains dedicated to ensuring academic excellence and accountability among her beneficiaries. The Foundation conducts annual performance reviews based on each student’s sessional or yearly results, with a focus on maintaining the agreed-upon minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50. Beneficiaries are expected to sustain or improve their academic performance each year until graduation, thus revalidation comes up every end of the session, the Revalidation Exercise scheduled on November 1st, 2025 was conducted to review in line with the program’s academic excellence requirements standards and renewal continuity. This process ensures transparency, accountability, and sustained motivation among our scholars and out of the 10 beneficiaries, three graduated last year remaining seven beneficiaries (7) Only 5 beneficiaries successfully passed through the exercise while two were not able to meet up with their CGPA requirements. Out of 50, 3 has graduated, reamainng 5 in the scholarship.
Meanwhile, five (5) new applicants who were under review for possible inclusion in the next cycle of the scholarship program has been approved in October 2025, making ten now.
As Mordecai Care Foundation of Nigeria continues to expand this impactful educational support, we appeal to our sponsors, international partners, friends, and philantropist donors to continue their invaluable support toward sustaining and scaling up this noble initiative, so that we will not stop as a result of funds constrauined.
