We are excited to announce that we have successfully reintegrated 35 children into their families and communities.
These children made up of 17 girls and 18 Boys were reintegrated back into their families after their caregivers had gone through series of education on child protection, dangers of trafficking, good parenting, and reproductive healthcare. All these children were rescued from communities on Lake Volta. They were taking through the necessary rehabilitation and healing process before being sent home.
These children and their families received financial support , distribution of school supplies , apprenticeship enrollment for those who chose to learn a skill, school enrollment for those going back to school and caregiver livelihood support to reduce the risk of re-trafficking .
