Menstruation is a part of the life of girls. Women need to take special care of safety and hygiene during menstruation but even today it is seen that women and girls in rural and urban slum areas are not aware of menstrual health. Women are using non-traditional means such as old cloth, cotton, newspaper during menstruation. These women do not understand the importance of sanitary napkins. In the Corona era, the sanitary napkin was out of reach of women.
The program for menstrual health awareness was organized by the RSKS Organization in collaboration with GlobalGiving. RSKS workers gave girls and women information about menstrual health through flip charts, posters, etc., as well as the utility of sanitary napkins by following the social distancing under the workshop organized there by selecting around 1500 women & girls of 15 inaccessible regional villages by the organization. Also explained through awareness videos, women got information about easy menstrual health. Under the workshop, the women openly inquired about their questions.
Free sanitary napkins were distributed to all women at the end of the program. A total of 2000 sanitary napkins packets were distributed by the organization. At the end of the program, the message was given to women and young girls to use sanitary napkins. All the women and girls praised the program. Information of the program were also given to the authorities of villages, they also appreciated this program of RSKS and proposed to conduct such awareness programs from time to time. All the women thanked. Through this program, women became aware and also understood the usefulness of sanitary napkins.

We feel Very proud to RSKS India completed Successful 28 years with ''May all live Happily'' and The organization has made its identity as a Leading & Highly Credible organization.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, like every year, has celebrated its Foundation Day on 2nd December 2020 this year. On this occasion, the activists of the RSKS organization celebrated this big bash with Helpless street and slum children. They cut cake, danced and enjoyed a lot in the celebration. Besides, Foundation Day celebration was organized in “Pathshala - school” and “Udan, a school for drop-out women” managed by RSKS India.
On the occasion of the Foundation Day, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sasnthan distributed woollen blankets to 25 poor families residing roadside so that they can protect themselves from the shivering cold. Similarly, a workshop was organized concerning legal rights of women. After the completion of the workshop, a rally was held in which women delivered awareness message for the prevention of violence against women to the society. In this series, 51 shaddy and fruitful trees were planted in a distant village in Ajmer where the participants took oath to keep trees conserved. In addition to this, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sasnthan installed 15 eco-friendly nests at homes in the foothills of Aravali ranges for the conservation of sparrow. In order to provide better and sustainable livelihood to single mother, sewing machines were given to two such singale women with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation.
The Foundation Day was celebrated 07 places where almost 400 beneficiaries including women, girls, men and children enjoyed in the celebrations. The celebration also had importance as it was the Successful 28 years of RSKS India.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, in these 28 years, has worked for more than one lakh marginalized and deprived people of 700 villages. In order to make them self-reliant and empowered, the organization has put its significant efforts through several programs as vocational education, women empowerment, agricultural development, conservation of environment, educational development and sustainable livelihood and the organization still keeps putting its efforts for the same.
It is the guidance of GlobalGiving Foundation and the generous donations of all respectable donors that brings positive energy to us due to which our activists are always ready to put themselves into action with dedication and devotion for the development and empowerment of the deprived community. The opposite effect of Covid-19 pandemic is being seen in the field of education. The school has been closed since the entire lockdown. In such a situation, children's education was disrupted. Education of school girls is completely disrupted especially in rural areas. It has been observed that due to lack of education materials education of girls is being hampered and also girls are not able to study at home. In such a situation, the future of these girls is going towards darkness. Due to financial constraints of the family, everyone is unable to provide education material to their girls.
Small Steps were taken for development of girl education by RSKS organization. The needy and smart girls were selected by the organization and the education materials were distributed under a program. A total of around 100 girls were distributed educational material by the organization which included school bags, pens, pencils, copy, scale, etc., which was received and there was a wave of happiness on the face of the girls. They were in need of this teaching material, and now it is as if the incomplete dream of these girls has been fulfilled.
Now all the girls are relaxed and studying at home and they are not having any kind of difficulty. The girl is studying regularly every day and is also teaching younger siblings at home. The family members of these girls have also become worry-free because now their girl has started studying and is studying diligently. All the girls and their families thanked the Team and donors and praised the event.

Statue Maker Ramdev's Story......
My name is Ramdev (Name Changed) and I am 36 years old. I live with my family in a slum in the urban slum area far from my village. I have a wife and 4 children in my family. I have full responsibility for their upbringing. I do a seasonal job of making Statues, which remains in the time of festival. It is only during the festival time that artists like us get a chance to make money. Covid-19 pandemic completely cooled the market. This time people are not making festivals due to fear of corona virus, due to which our made Ravan (Statues) is not being sold. In such a situation, I faced a cash problem and ration problem.
In such a difficult situation, the RSKS organization extended a helping hand to the seasonal employed artists like me. Ration kits were distributed to me by RSKS organization. This ration kit has enough ration material like flour, lentils, rice, spices, salt, oil, soap etc. When I got ration, I am not able to describe that moment in words. I was very happy when I got the ration kit. When I told this thing to my wife at home, she was also happy.
After many years, on the day of ration distribution, my family and I ate a lot of food. With this ration kit, I will get food security for long time and my children will be able to get two meals on time. The RSKS organization helped at a time when we had given up all hope and were about to go back home, but now I am enthusiastically preparing to make Statues items for sale in upcoming festivals. I sincerely thank the all the donors.

An Impact: Meet with Beneficiary Dhamu .....
72 - year-old Dhamu (Name Changed) is a widow woman living in Motisar, a remote village in Pushkar. Dhamu is forced to live a single life even after having a full family. At this stage of age, Dhamu needs the love and upbringing of the family but she does not get it. Their living became even more painful during the Corona period. In this situation, Dhamu had to face the problem of rationing. In such a situation, she was not getting two meals at the same time.
Dhamu was identified for distribution of ration and hygiene kits under the covid-19 ration and relief material distribution program organized by the collaboration of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GG and Donors. Dhamu was given a around 30kg dry ration kit under this program. This ration kit had flour, rice, lentils, soyabeans, salt, sugar, oil, soap, various spices etc. ration items. Dhamu got a smile after receiving the ration kit. Dhamu understood the importance of this ration kit.
The happiness of Dhamu could not be said in words. With the help of this ration kit, one month food security of Dhamu was ensured. Now Dhamu is able to eat food for two times with the help of ration and now she is not dependent on anyone else. At this stage of age, Dhamu has got the chance to live honorably. Through this program, many elderly women like Dhamu have got relief and their food security has been ensured. For this, all the older women wholeheartedly thanked Donors.
