With great joy we want to share with you that we have finished 2015 with a great appreciation for the work done for the benefit of children with cancer and their families!. Our work managed to benefit over 300 children and their parents, with free grief counseling , art therapy workshops , support groups with educational talks , transportation and food aid and support for greater access to health care . In December 2015 we delivered 261 transport aid and / or market and made 227 art therapy sessions in two hospitals in Bogota.
To close the year we held a beautiful and special Christmas party for children in active treatment, his parents and siblings. This celebration was attended by about 300 people and was aimed at showing love , family unity and courage in these small fighters. The party was held at a ranch on the outskirts of Bogota and had a schedule of games and fun activities for all attendees , as well as snacks, lunch and gifts for all patients and their siblings.
The event also brought out the fourth version of the Award for Courage and Love of a child with cancer , recognition was received by Mayerly , a small 11 year old diagnosed with leukemia , who with his testimony of life shows us great value and learning. Also we reward the year 2 volunteers for their commitment and dedication to social work we do.
As you can see , your valuable contribution to the program has been increased and invested carefully in all these brave children and their families! We want to continue counting on you in 2016
