In Uganda over 30,000 teenage girls get pregnant each in Uganda each month and western Uganda , recorded the highest in the whole country.Most adolescent girls who get pregnant have dropped out of school,with about 67% having completed only primaryeducation.
Adoescent girls have been angaged in risky behaviors,experiencing violence,and starting sex acts at the young age which has increased the livelihood of pregnancies among adolescents and rate is ranging from 26.1% to 55.6% in Uganda.
U-YOGA UGANDA, organized cultural # End Teenage Pregnancy Campaign to educate young girls and empower them to reduce teenage pregnancies and ealry marrage among the adolescents and young in western Uganda.
This program will take 3 years and will operate in three districts of Fort Portal, Kyegegwa Kyenjojo district.
