Project Report | Jun 7, 2023
Our News

By Gulmira Abeldinova | Kasietty zhol President

Hello!

It's time, to sum up the results of the work of the Kasietti Zhol Foundation, conducted from February 2023 to May 2023.

We wrote to you earlier that we are gradually ending our activities within the framework of providing affordable rehabilitation assistance to children with neuro-orthopedic disorders from low-income families and orphanages. We are closing all rehabilitation centers "Kasietti Zhol", because the model of our centers is recommended by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for state centers. To date, 22 such centers have been opened, and 38 more are planned to be opened. Thus, a network of centers is developing in the regions of Kazakhstan, gradually covering the need of the children's population for comprehensive rehabilitation services. The transfer of the model of rehabilitation centers to the state is one of the main results of our project.

Another result is the assistance of 8,148 children with cerebral palsy from all regions of our country who have been rehabilitated in our centers since 2014. This number of children and families got a chance to improve their quality of life. As a result of the work of our team of specialists and parents, 977 children began to walk, and 1831 uttered their first words. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to our project.

During the reporting period, together with our benefactors, we continued to support the families of children with cerebral palsy.

Today we will tell you about the celebration of International Children's Day. Our old friend Sheraton Hotel Astana organized the event for children and their parents. The day before, the hotel staff collected food baskets and took them to the families of our wards. And on the day of the holiday, the hotel’s general manager invited 50 families of our Foundation to the hotel to decorate cupcakes with cream and powders together, draw on paper, and then a delicious lunch from the chef was offered.

Most importantly, they provided an excellent opportunity to meet children and their parents, have fun and have a good time, and understand that the world is KIND.

We appreciate your support, and we say "Thank you" from the bottom of our hearts!
