Support 26 000 children with palsy in Kazakhstan

We have prepared another digest of news about the work of the Kasietti Zhol Foundation from June to September 2022. For 4 months, our rehabilitation center in the city of Shymkent accepted 210 children for free rehabilitation.

In August, we started working on a joint charity event with the representative office of Unipharm Laboratories Limited in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The idea was to transfer to our fund 10% of the cost of each package of vitamin D sold. The Biosfera pharmacy chain joined this project, and since September the action has started throughout Kazakhstan.

In September we celebrated Knowledge Day. In the September race there were children who went to the first grade of a general education school, as well as children whose school year had begun.

We are glad that rehabilitation at the "Kzhol Shymkent" center: classes with teachers, developing games, work with exercise therapy instructors - helps special children learn together with ordinary children and reach heights in their studies.

9-year-old Nurkhayat is a ward of our foundation, who underwent several rehabilitation courses at the center. Nurkhayat has cerebral palsy and she could not walk when, at the age of 5, she first came to the Kzhol Shymkent center for rehabilitation, the girl’s speech was also not developed. The girl took her first independent steps after completing the necessary courses from the specialists of the center. Working with speech therapists at the center helped her speak better and now she can easily communicate with her peers and family.

Today she is a student of the 4th grade of a comprehensive school, receives excellent grades and certificates of successful study. But a few years ago, her parents could not even imagine that this would become a reality so quickly. The story of Nurkhayat confirms the effectiveness of timely rehabilitation, its positive impact on the girl's academic success.

There are very good specialists in the center, they always work with us with great desire and participation. All the conditions for the child are created here, there is everything you need for a full-fledged rehabilitation, and most importantly, wonderful teachers. Exercise therapy specialist Rustem helped Nurkhayat a lot, she attends classes with pleasure, ”Nurkhayat’s mother, Diana Orumbaeva, shares her sincere feelings.

Rehabilitation specialists do not promise parents an instant miraculous cure from an illness, but help a child and his family learn to live with this diagnosis, be able to do simple everyday things, be more independent, achieve goals and improve the quality of life. Every month, several children take their first steps into a new life.
