Hello!
Thank you for contributing to the work of our foundation - your donations help us continue to provide free rehabilitation for children with cerebral palsy in Kazakhstan.
We would like to share the progress that was done from October to December 2021. During this period, two of our centers in Nur-Sultan and Shymkent conducted rehabilitation for 246 children from low-income families and orphanages.
In November, the director of the "Kzhol Shymkent" center, Dr. Saltanat Koshenova, completed the training in Moscow (Russia) in botulinum therapy.
Dr. Saltanat Koshenova is an injector and injects dysport to children in our center. She has repeatedly studied the method of administering botulinum toxin to children with cerebral palsy; this time the main goal was to get acquainted with the approach in botulinum therapy for children with severe forms of the disease.
In December, with the help of our benefactors, we organized a New Year celebration for our wards. The holidays were held in the best traditions - in a warm family atmosphere, with games, dances, poems and songs! Each child received a New Year's sweet gift.
The most important thing is that the children were given invaluable emotions, joy and smiles!
Following our tradition, we will share with you the story of our ward. His name is Almat and he has right-sided hemiparesis. In our center "Kzhol Shymkent" he underwent 8 rehabilitation courses.
Almat came to the first course of rehabilitation very constrained, shy, and he spoke in separate words and reluctantly. After several rehabilitations, he became active, sociable, independent, speaks in phrases and does not hesitate to ask questions.
Our specialists helped him open up, and in group classes Almat eventually began to show leadership skills. He knows the names of all the employees of the center, treats them kindly and with respect. He has a very affectionate and trusting relationship with his mother.
Almat's mother is admirable; when she learned about her son's diagnosis, she was determined from the very beginning. She knew that rehabilitation was a long way to success. Her main principle is not to stop treatment and to work constantly. And this principle is bearing fruit - now Almat can ride a two-wheeled bicycle on his own!
Almat's mom dreams that he can speak and express his thoughts more confidently, learn to work with his right hand so that her son finds his calling and place in life. And she makes every effort to make it true. We are glad that we are involved in the success of this boy and other children who are undergoing rehabilitation in our centers. And you help us in this, for which we are very grateful to you!
Your donations really change children's lives for the better!
We wish you well-being!
Sincerely, the team of the Kasietti Zhol Foundation.
