Support 26 000 children with palsy in Kazakhstan

Thank you to everyone who believed and believes in our project, we bring it to life thanks to hundreds of unique donors and GlobalGiving.

First of all, we want to express our deep gratitude to you for your support during a difficult time for all people on the planet.

So, let's move on to what has been done in our three rehabilitation centers in recent years. In our three rehabilitation centers, 654 children were rehabilitated in three and a half months. We want to share the excellent results of our guys.

We want to share with you the success story of our ward, as a result of the hard work of the girl, her parents and our specialists, the girl has achieved excellent results and does not intend to stop there.

Milana, 5years old, has right-sided hemiparesis. This means that the right half of her body is weakened. The girl has seizures. Also, Milana could not breathe on her own, so she had a tracheostomy installed.

When Milana was 2 years old, her mother - Sevara brought to our center "Kzhol Shymkent". At the first examination, Milana could only roll over, her head was weak, there was no support on her arms and legs, she sat only at the support or with full support. But our experienced rehabilitation specialists noticed the potential in the baby.

Equipping our center "Kzhol Shymkent" with simulators, a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation allowed us to accelerate the progress of Milan. She quickly began to move forward not only in the motor, but also in the intellectual sphere.

When working with Milana, the specialists necessarily taught my mother how to do it at home. Sevara is a very active and involved mother - she became a rehabilitologist for her daughter.

"We have been to many places and I like Kzhol Shymkent the most. The most valuable thing - very good specialists who are happy to all children sincerely, without the division into "special" / "not special". Here, everyone is active and they charge with positive emotions and give strength, " Sevara shares.

Now, passing the next course of rehabilitation in our rehabilitation center, Milana began to perform her first independent steps.

As a result of 4 years of regular labor-intensive training, Milana sits, crawls, and walks on her own. There is still a lot of work to be done on the gait, on the coordination, but Milana, her parents and our specialists will overcome all the obstacles.
