Juveniles in South Sudan, face significant legal challenges, including a lack of access to competent legal representation, inadequate understanding of their rights, and systemic barriers within the justice system. Without proper legal aid services, many young individuals remain vulnerable and unable to navigate the complexities of the legal system effectively
This project will establish legal aid clinics to provide juveniles in South Sudan with direct legal representation and support. By conducting legal education workshops, it will empower youths and their families to understand their rights and navigate the justice system. Additionally, training legal professionals will enhance their capacity to handle juvenile cases sensitively, ultimately promoting fair treatment and protecting the rights of young individuals in conflict with the law.
