At Galeya Rogdha School, we're focused on providing over 250 children with daily nutritious meals, ensuring they have the energy to learn and grow. As enrollment continues to rise, we're working to expand opportunities for all students, including creating gender clubs to encourage leadership and equality. We're also aiming to provide more textbooks and establish a library that fosters a love of learning. Your involvement allows these students to pursue their potential.
Galeya Rogdha School, in Ethiopia's rural South West Shewa zone, serves over 250 children, including many from the marginalized Gumuz community. The school faces ongoing challenges, as limited resources make it difficult to provide consistent, quality education. Since we began offering daily nutritious meals and regular health checks in 2014, enrollment has steadily increased, showing how much families value education. But the school still lacks essentials like textbooks and learning materials.
This project aims to address the challenges at Galeya Rogdha School by providing essential resources to support both the students and the school's growth. By offering daily nutritious meals, we will ensure that children stay healthy and focused. Regular medical checks will also help monitor their well-being. The provision of textbooks and other learning resources will equip students with the tools they need to succeed academically.
We are investing in the long-term well-being and education of over 250 children. Access to food and health checks helps children stay in school, while textbooks and materials improve the quality of their learning. As students gain knowledge and confidence, they are more likely to continue their education and contribute positively to their communities. This project strengthens the foundation for a healthier, more educated generation, creating lasting change for families in the area.
