This project will provide free nutritional meals, free education and counseling for orphans and vulnerable children in Ngando slums of Nairobi that are stigmatized and discriminated against in society
Children of Africa Hope Mission caters for 150 orphans and vulnerable children in the slums of Ngando in Riruta and there is a dire need of nutritional food since they come from poor/infected homes where they don’t get adequate food. The two meals they get at school are the only meals for the day for majority of these children. Learning materials are hard to come by for them. They are also affected physically, mentally and psychologically because the society stigmatizes them on their HIV status
The plans for this project is to provide nutritional food, basic primary education, child rights education and responsibilities, clothing/school uniforms, medical care and counseling/psychosocial support to 150 orphans and vulnerable children.
The project will benefit150 children, have a place to call home and enable them to grow to maturity and give them a chance to pursue formal education.this will also enable these children develop high self esteem and live to realize their dream.
