Eid Gifts Distributed to Thalassemia Children

By Muhammad Imad Ud Din | Project Leader

Title:Eid Gifts Distributed to Thalassemia Children at Alkhidmat Center Peshawar

Summary

At the Alkhidmat Thalassemia Center in Peshawar, 35 children undergoing treatment for thalassemiawere provided with Eid gifts and Eidi, helping them celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid with happiness and dignity.

Story / Update

Children suffering from thalassemiaface continuous medical challenges and frequent hospital visits, which can limit their ability to fully experience joyful occasions like Eid. Recognizing this, Alkhidmat Foundation organized a special initiative at its Thalassemia Center in Peshawarto bring smiles to these brave children.

A total of 35 childrenreceived Eid gifts including new clothes, shoes, bangles, and Eidi (cash gifts). The event created a festive and cheerful atmosphere, allowing the children to feel included in the celebrations despite their ongoing health struggles.

Such initiatives are vital in uplifting the emotional well-being of children undergoing long-term treatment. Beyond medical care, these moments of joy provide comfort, encouragement, and a sense of normalcy for both the children and their families.

The happiness and excitement on the children’s faces reflected the true spirit of Eid—sharing joy, compassion, and care with those who need it most.
