Title: Sewing Machines Distributed to Empower 15 Deserving Women in Islamabad
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation distributed 15 sewing machines to deserving women in Islamabad, enabling them to earn a dignified livelihood and support their families through home-based income generation.
This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s women empowerment and livelihood support programs, focused on promoting self-reliance and economic stability.
Story / Update
Many women in low-income communities possess valuable skills but lack the basic tools needed to turn those skills into sustainable income. Limited employment opportunities and financial constraints often prevent them from contributing economically.
To address this challenge, Alkhidmat Foundation distributed sewing machines to 15 deserving women in Islamabad. With these machines, beneficiaries can begin or expand tailoring work from their homes, allowing them to earn a steady income while managing household responsibilities.
The recipients expressed gratitude for this support, sharing how access to a sewing machine opens doors to financial independence, confidence, and improved living conditions for their families.
