Hi Friend of MAAWS,
Hope you're all enjoying the last weeks of summer before fall officially hits if you are in the United States. If not, I hope you are enjoying the weather wherever you are!
Since we started fundraising on GlobalGiving in March 2011, 201 of you have contributed over $20,000.00 in order to provide families we clean and safe drinking water. Thanks to you we have been able to install over 200 tube wells. We continue to grow and expand our efforts. In turn, we cannot thank you enough for support using to do so.
Currently, we are focused on the MAAWS Health Complex, an outpatient health clinic providing free and low cost health care to villagers in our project area in rural Bangladesh. Since opening in 2012, we have seen and treated over 3,000 patients. We still need a lot of support for this project to purchase medications, supplies and much needed diagnostic equipment. We are currently running a Microproject to raise $3,000 by September 25. Please check out the project page and donate at http://bit.ly/maawshcmp.
We cannot thank you enough for your faith in us and believing in our mission. Together we can all work to provide people with the opportunities to uplift themselves out of poverty.
If you want to learn about more ways you can help, feel free to contact me at juhi.mawla@maaws.org.
Thank you again for all you have done to help this cause.
With gratitude,
Juhi Mawla
