Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative helping farmers affected by Super Typhoon Rai. The effect of the typhoon to the lives of local farmers is great and they struggle daily to rebuild livelihoods. That is why during this reporting period we focus our attention to helping them rebuild their livelihoods by providing small equipment, vegetable seeds, technical knowledge and referrals to government agencies and non-government supporters in the area. We were able to help 120 affected farmers during this reporting period in this manner. Our plan to establish a small office in Siargao Island did not materialize because our funds were low but we are still aiming to do this given that the area is within the path of typhoons and we will be able to respond quickly if we are present in the area. Again thank you very much for your support.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Seeds and hygiene kits support
Seeds and hygiene kits support

Dear Friend,

Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing assistance to families affected by Super Typhoon Rai. We are indeed very happy to inform you that through your generous donation, we are able to assist a total of 2,200 families by providing them with hygiene kits and vegetable gardening inputs. The hygiene kits consist of soap, toothpaste and toothbrush while the garden inputs consist of vegetable seeds, organic fertilizer and small farm tools like garden sprayer, sprinkler and weeding tools. Our advantage is that we are located near the affected communities hence we are able to implement our initiative more efficiently and with great rigor. Our plan to establish an office and training center is put on hold due to lack of funds but we still try to aim for this. Hoping for your continued support to us. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre
