Thank you for your contiinued support. This summer we are looking forward to our summer camp program. During the summer the children do not attend school and thus miss the opportunity to receive a nutritious meal. Each summer Life Connection Mission runs a two month summer camp to provide various ac-tivities, tutoring, and a meal for each student. The cost for each student is $60.
Summer break for Life Connection Mission's school in Haiti means that over 450 students in pre-K through 13th grades have a lack of structured time, quality education, and one hot meal per school day. In turn, students who have fallen behind in their studies have a harder time catching up, and those dependent on the school's nutritious food are at risk to go hungry. Also, the break means a work hiatus for the Haitian staff, making survival more financially difficult for them and their families.
