The Summer School aims to help the social integration of young people in the world outside of school and the foster care, to develop their abilities to adapt and to face new situations, as well as to improve their academic results. The duration of the summer school is 3 weeks and there will be classes in the main subjects, taught at school, as well as experiential learning activities in the afternoon.
Due to shortage of staff as well as staff incompetence in the institutions, Bulgarian children without parental care get limited opportunity to discuss their life aspirations, career directions and the steps to attain them. Thus they are little prepared to face the challenges of life outside of the institution at age 18. We will help them prepare for this crucial moment, so they can take the right steps to pursue successfully the career of their dreams and avoid falling prey to criminals.
The duration of the summer school is 3 weeks and there will be classes in the main subjects, taught at school, as well as experiential learning activities in the afternoon.
