As we step into the year 2016, Team SUKRUPA both office and teaching is working hard to create another better year for all the students of SUKRUPA. As the academic year is coming to end with final exams in March and Results in mid-April to end of April We Thank All Our Sponsors, Donors, Friends, Volunteers and Interns for being part of SUKRUPA.
We greatly appreciate continued support as we step into the new academic year 2016-2017 to help our children get one step closer to their dreams. Support our up coming campaigns this year, share with your family and friends to bring in more help.
We also have greater opportunities for interns and volunteers both in the office and school…look forward to our posts…..
MISSION
SUKRUPA's mission is to provide high-quality primary and secondary education to underprivileged children and young adults, giving them the resources to break the cycle of poverty and create stable, sustainable future.
ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION
SUKRUPA Celebrated the 14th Annual Day on 30th January 2016. It turned out to be a memorable one for the Management, Teachers, Staff and Children at SUKRUPA.
We were Honored to have, Mrs.Aruna Sundarlal and Ms.Sheba from 'The Bangalore School of Music. Dr.C.Manohar (Dean Of ISBR), Mr.Ravi Shankar (Kanthula Foundation), Mr.Chalapathi (Education Department) and all our well-wishers, parents, teachers, and volunteers.
Starting from the auditions in every event to the rigorous practice sessions, it was a hilarious task to bring a promising plot of 400 children on stage. Right from the tiny tots to the senior classes, children were dressed in colorful costumes setting the stage on fire.
We express gratitude to our illustrious management, teachers and staff for their passion and commitment. On this memorable occasion, we rededicate ourselves with the firm resolve to create opportunities and provide a promising future for our children.
BRINGING BACK MEMORIES
It was a wonderful time of reunion at SUKRUPA with our old students.We had moments to cherish and memories to bring back. We had a fabulous breakfast meet sharing happiness and experiences. We miss all the children who couldn't make it, we hope they make it for the next meet.
CELEBRATING OUR DIRECTOR'S BIRTHDAY
On 4th January, we celebrated our Director's (Mr.Sathiaseelan) belated birthday at SUKRUPA. There was a flurry of excitement all around. Beautiful cards were made by the children who thoroughly enjoyed the cake cutting, making this day one of the most memorable at SUKRUPA.
CELEBRATING THE HARVEST
Celebrating the Harvest festival Pongal at SUKRUPA. The children were dressed in traditional attire. The significance of the festival was explained to the children. It Was a cheerful day with fun and joy...
INAUGURATING SCIENCE
Inaugurating a dedicated fully equipped Science and Math labs at SUKRUPA was held on January 4th, 2016. This opening was made possible with the support of Nikhiya Shamsher (daughter of Mr and Mrs.Shahsher). This new lab will allow for the reinforcement of technical learning, creative thinking indirect benefit of over 400 children at SUKRUPA. The lab will enable students to learn and practice the experiments which will help in full filling their estimated understanding.
OPENING THE DOORS OF CREATIVITY
Learning with Creativity and enthusiasm!! At SUKRUPA we not just focus on education but we also look into the talents and creativity of children. In the month of January, we had a day called OPEN DAY where the children had showcased their creativity in their school projects.
Every classroom was filled with colorful charts. The children have made several subject-based projects and displayed them on OPEN DAY. It was such a pleasure to see the children creating their projects with great enthusiasm.
VOLUNTEERING MADE SPECIAL
The Volunteers from Target had an interactive and educative session with the children teaching them the importance of English, Maths, and Life Skills through games and activities. We thank the target team for spending their valuable time with the children.
