Founder I Executive Director Speak

I continue to share my gratitude to each and every one who is making it possible for SUKRUPA to sustain and grow during this pandemic. It's not been easy, but every little support that is coming from SuMargadarshak volunteer team, staff and teachers of SUKRUPA is tremendous. They have been a great instrument in creating the creative learning design, where so many students are being involved and it is completely a student volunteer, Alumni initiative of SUKRUPA under my leadership.

My special thanks to Rajkumar for taking the huge responsibility and working through it and making this successful. We continue to seek support for children's education and wellbeing.

I'm thrilled and proud to share that we launched our creative learning design based on Karnataka State Syllabus on the 5th of November. Our kids who do not have access to laptops or broadband internet connection now can continue their learning every day.

SALESFORCE Music for Change 2020

Salesforce – Music for Change is a global opportunity to inspire a diverse set of students across the globe to use technology and music as a force for positive change. SUKRUPA children were part of the three week long immerse virtual engagement that introduced students to technology, music production and composition and sustainable development goals.

Students created music advocating for a social cause aligned with the SDG’s they cared about the most.

Arshiya I 9th Grade

I am Arshiya from 9th grade. SUKRUPA has always been motivating, guiding and mentoring me throughout. I'm passionate about singing and I love to sing. Through Sukrupa I was part Salesforce - Music for Change 2020.

I learnt to edit, do voice recording, write my own lyrics and compose music. All the mentors helped me to explore myself and were always supportive. I composed my song based on Sustainable Development Goal 2 - Zero Hunger. In my song I’m talking about the poor people who are struggling for food and education. Here is a line from my song “We are hungry, we are hungry, how can we survive without food. Come let us all remove hunger”. I feel proud to have been a part of this program. It was an amazing experience to develop my skills.

Sagar I 10th Grade

I am Sagar studying in 10th Grade at SUKRUPA. I was surprised about myself as I did not have any basic knowledge about music making before the start of this program. I was motivated and guided by the mentors to actively learn. I learnt about Band lab, to create background music, record songs, write lyrics and edit music. Singing is my hobby. It was wonderful connecting with my music team. My song is based on SDG 5 - Gender Equality. Our society does not treat women equally so through my song I’m advocating equality. My lyrics goes like this – “Jagadha Shrusti Nenay, Mane Belaku Jothi Nenay which means You are the creator of the world, You are the light of the house”.

I thank Sukrupa and Salesforce for giving me this wonderful opportunity, it was a completely new and thrilling experience for me. I’m excited for the results which are yet to be announced.

Intern of the Month

I have been interning as a Digital Marketer at Sukrupa. I strongly believe that every child has a right to education and that is what will result in a progressive society. My hobbies include creative writing, reading, traveling and giving back to the society.
At SUKRUPA, along with fulfilling the purpose of providing basic education to children, the organization makes sure they acquire quality education, get into top colleges and land their dream careers, also empowers students through various extracurriculars and leadership programs. It has been an exceptionally impactful experience.

The founder, Ms. Krupalatha is a highly qualified and motivated person, who has been a great support and guidance to me throughout. The element that inspired me the most was learning about the student's motivation and interests. On interacting with students, I realized they have understood the importance of giving back from a very young age.I am delighted to be a part of SUKRUPA to join hands with a diverse group to empower children and look forward to continuing this journey”.
