By Annet Kamakune | Project Leader
Greetings to all our donors, supporters, and friends.
During this reporting period, the Sugar Daddy Awareness School Girls project did not undertake field activities due to the continued lack of financial resources. Nevertheless, the need addressed by the project remains urgent. Vulnerable girls in rural Western Uganda continue to face economic pressures that can expose them to exploitation, transactional relationships and school dropout, particularly during periods when families are struggling to meet basic needs.
We therefore continue to seek resources and potential partnerships that can enable the project to move into implementation. With adequate support, we hope to undertake awareness and community sensitisation activities, engage parents and teachers, and provide girls with information and practical support to help them remain safe, stay in school and make informed decisions about their futures. We remain grateful to everyone who continues to believe in the protection, dignity and future of vulnerable girls in rural Uganda.
