I'm reaching out to express my gratitude and admiration for the incredible impact each one of you has had on spreading the message of Virtues. Thanks to your efforts, the world is experiencing positive transformations, and I want to take a moment to salute each of you for your wonderful contributions.
In the past,
The Virtues Project has made remarkable strides in nurturing virtues among our students, teachers, and parents. In the month of September, I was seriously sick and lay in bed for two weeks. I was so surprised to see how the learners and teaching staff at St. Joseph's Eshirumba Primary School were so caring. They left me shedding tears of joy. At 5:00pm every evening, learners and teachers gathered at my home, in various groupings, some took care of the cleaning, others cooking and others washing clothes. They reminded me of the virtues they were focusing on during those two weeks: prayerfulness and reliability. Learners came bearing avocados, pawpaws, mangoes and guavas. I was so touched with their great love and caring.
The changes are evident in the kindness, care, compassion, and purpose displayed by our children at St. Joseph's Eshirumba Primary School, with Virtue Club meetings and Virtues Picks contributing to this positive change. Academic performance has seen a significant improvement, with St. Joseph's Eshirumba school's test scores rising from a mean of 162.03 to 233.87. This success is attributed to the purposefulness, commitment, and steadfastness cultivated through the practice of Virtues.
The positive impact extends beyond the academic realm. The scouts have excelled in environmental conservation and citizenship, guided by Virtues. Teachers have embraced Virtues in their classrooms, witnessing positive character changes in students both at school and at home.
I've also had the privilege of engaging with parents, guiding them through the practice of Virtues. One touching story involves a widow with seven children whom I took in, offering support and care. Her transformation is a testament to the power of Virtues in changing lives.
As we face challenges in our country, especially with the closure of schools affecting parents who rely on school lunches, there is a pressing need to support vulnerable cases. I am reaching out for help to ensure that no child is left behind during this difficult time.
In December, Madam Bibiana, Geofrey, Richard, and I are organizing a Facilitators training to guide teachers through Virtues training Your donations help with our efforts to conduct trainings like this in The Virtues Project, provide certificates, and as always to help our less fortunate, the many orphans among us, especially now as the holidays approach.
Thank you for your dedication, kindness, and for caring enough to want to support us.
