Panorama Sostenible Report March 2025
We began 2025 with great enthusiasm all activities programed for the semester, in these areas:
Circular Planet
During January and February, Environmental Education days were held, focusing on issues of great global importance. In January, the National Day of Environmental Education and the International Day of Clean Energy were celebrated on the 26th, followed by the International Day for the Reduction of CO2 Emissions on the 28th, highlighting environmental education and the transition to sustainable energies. In February, World Wetlands Day was observed on the 2nd, highlighting the protection of these ecosystems. On the 3rd, International No Straw Day was promoted, encouraging the reduction of single-use plastics. On the 11th, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science was commemorated, highlighting their fundamental role. On the 21st, the International Day for the Protection of the World's Bears focused on the conservation of these species, and on the 25th, World Animal Sterilization Day highlighted the importance of animal population control.
Recycling Bins
We maintained 3 Bins at the entrance and continued to teach how to classify garbage
and to motivate families to replicate it in their homes.
Casa Cultural (Arte y Educación Ambiental)
Objective: To actively contribute to sustainable development by promoting ecological viability and social justice through the following programs: Music classes, Techno-academy activities, Chez classes on Saturdays and English classes several times during the week. Music85 students participated in five groups (musical initiation, children's band, youth band, guitars and piano). The classes included the staging of classical and folkloric works, integrating cross-cutting themes such as global warming, the greenhouse effect, alternative energies, species protection and the conservation of natural resources.

Reading club Green Planet
We continued to promote reading to improve spaces for coexistence and promote the development of citizen values: respect, leadership, honesty and care for the environment.20 children, between 8 and 14 years old, together with their parents, participated in reading activities that included works of universal literature and texts aimed at promoting civic values such as respect, leadership, honesty and care for the environment, thus promoting social peace. English60 children (aged 7 to 17), including levels linked to musical initiation, pre-band and youth band, participated in this bilingual program, supported by the YES Institute under the motto "FIRST BILINGUAL NEIGHBORHOOD."3 students at the YES Institute so that the benefited students improved their level and replicate what they have learned with their classmates.
o 16 students benefited from the Salesian Schools (San Medardo and María Auxiliadora).
o 1 student at the university
o 14 students awarded scholarships by the YES Institute, with the commitment to replicate what they learned in the Panorama neighborhood to generate impact.
Godparents Plan:The program continues to promote solidarity, improved the lives of children and families, involved sponsors and demonstrated the impact of the program, provided nutrition of sponsored children 18 students at the Salesian San Medardo School
Techno-academyAimed at 10 students divided into 2 groups (8 to 10 years old and 11 to 13 years old). Provided a proposal for an environmental initiative, with learning activities related to science, technology and environmental education. Academic reinforcement:Aimed at students who voluntarily want to take it with the purpose of reinforcing respect for the environment, citizen values and basic sciences and languages (English and Spanish).Teachers according to the requirements of interested students.
