particularly in communities where health facilities have limited resources and where early detection, infection prevention, sanitation, and community surveillance can be challenging. Our project aims to strengthen prevention before an outbreak escalates by supporting community-based awareness, improving Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) practices, strengthening infection prevention and control, and building the capacity of local health workers and community members.
The project has a total budget of US$150,000. At this stage, US$0 has been raised, and implementation has not yet started. We are currently in the preparation and resource-mobilization phase, including identifying qualified trainers and potential learners who will participate in the planned capacity-building activities. This approach allows us to prepare the project carefully and ensure that the people who will receive training and support are appropriately identified before field activities begin.
With the support and collaboration of GlobalGiving, we are working to mobilize the resources needed to move from preparation to implementation. Once funding is secured, the project will focus on practical prevention measures, community engagement, training, and improved hygiene and infection-prevention practices. We believe that investing in prevention today can help communities become better prepared to detect risks early and respond before health threats grow.
We sincerely thank GlobalGiving for helping us connect this project with a wider community of international supporters. We also thank every donor who has taken an interest in our work. We invite individuals, foundations, organizations, and partners to support this project and help us reach the US$150,000 funding goal. Your contribution can help bring training, prevention resources, and stronger community health systems closer to the people who need them most.
