The street children centre is almost complete. 120 children need your help now. A donor will match up to $6,000 of your donations till December 1st, in addition to Global Giving’s match.
Currently MCF rents 2 rooms for an office and is unable to host activities such as recreation, workshops, education, counseling for children. The project will initiate more activities with a greater impact in the lives of 150 children, 80 guardians/parents and the community on issues like HIV/Aids, drugs, child abuse, etc and we will provide emergency shelter for orphans. We will have a feeding programme for up to 150 children and they will have a safe place to go to in the slum.

The centre will provide a safe haven in the slum for children, care, stability and a conducive environment thereby reducing social vices whilst facilitating positive behaviour changes and improved academic performance.
