It has been almost 1 year since Johann came to Japan from Turkey.
He eats well, sleeps well, and smiles well.
Now he can participate in various activities as a therapy dog. He has many dog friends in Japan. He is becoming a very great therapy dog.
He plays an active part in Healing & Recreation Center for Human and Dogs, where people can interact with therapy dogs and feel relaxed. The purpose people come to this center is up to the person. Some come to heal their tired mentality for their work, human relations, and so on. Some come to interact with dogs because they cannot have them at home. Some have mental illness, like depression, and try to heel that for the power of therapy dogs. Some parents come to our center with their children for their education.
The purpose is different, it means the atmosphere of the person and how to interact with dogs are also different. Children usually do not understand how to touch dogs, so sometimes hit dogs. The person with serious mental illness tends to have the unique atmosphere.
Therapy dogs need to be kind to all kinds of people all the time.
Johann is very great. We think he understands what the person need; enjoyment, education or healing. He is a very very great therapy dog.
